Role

Bethany House is a resettlement accommodation unit which supports men and women who are homeless.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about cooking and serving vulnerable groups of people. This post holder will work in the kitchen three days per week and cook dinner for 28 residents of Bethany House. They will also work as a team to gather menu ideas and accommodate specific dietary requirements. They will also work with others in the team to monitor the food supplies and order food when needed.

  • Bethany provides 30 days of annual leave initially to all contracted staff, rising to a maximum of 40 days depending on length of service.

  • Bethany provides a death in service benefit scheme.
  • (Depending on the role) Optional clinical supervision will be offered in line with best practice and fully funded by Bethany.

Starting salary: £21,255 gross per annum pro rata
Permanent Part-time (12 hours/week)
Holiday entitlement: 225 hours per year pro rata
