‘Insiders’ debuted to a public audience at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August.
It follows three inmates as they struggle with big questions about suffering and meaning in the face of imprisonment and tragedy.
Written with Scottish prisoners through Bethany’s Creative Expressions programme and previously performed to over 400 inmates it is a play about faith, suffering and the search for meaning within the Scottish prison system.
The experience was everything we hoped it would be, with great reviews and packed audiences, and we can now genuinely call ourselves ‘award winning’ having been presented with a Broadway Bobby Award from reviews site Broadway Baby.
