Bethany’s Housing Support Fife is a dynamic and growing service providing multiple types of housing support across Fife. Bethany Christian Trust is looking for a part-time male support worker to be part of our Short-Term Housing Support team.
Short-term housing support helps people keep their tenancy, giving practical support to help people manage their home and daily life. Support is person-centred, which means we tailor it to individual needs and goals. The successful post holder will work as part of a team delivering flexible and person-centred support to people in a wide variety of situations to meet their housing needs.
We are looking for a person with a proven record as a team player with excellent communication skills; it is essential that you have a desire to work alongside people in a housing support setting. Increasingly we find that we are supporting people who have experienced severe multiple disadvantage. We would welcome applicants with lived experience of some of the issues that we support people with.
An SVQ 3 in Social Care, Promoting Independence or equivalent as listed by SSSC as appropriate for a ‘Housing Practitioner’ is desirable; the willingness to work towards this is essential.
A full driving licence and your own vehicle are essential.

Salary: £22,648 – £24,097
