Donate to our shops and make a real difference in the lives of homeless and vulnerable people. We are always in need of donations for our shops – portable items that can be handed into any of our shops as well as furniture which can be uplifted by our Furniture Uplift service.

What items can I donate to Bethany?

• Bric-a-brac, pictures and mirrors
• Clothes, shoes and accessories
• Jewellery and collectibles
• Records, CDs and DVDs
• Books and toys
• Furniture in good re-useable condition, all fabric furniture must have fire labels attached
• Linen, fabric, rugs

What can’t be accepted by Bethany?

• Car seats, prams, buggies
• Safety helmets and mobility aids
• Flat pack furniture, fabric furniture without fire-labels
• Items not in a re-useable or sellable condition

Sometimes we will have to refuse the item you want to donate. If someone donates something we cannot sell or reuse it costs Bethany money to dispose of. To enable us to steward our resources to our best ability we may refuse a donation.

Furniture Uplift 
As always we are looking for good quality beds, sofas and armchairs to help people set up new homes and our shops will be looking for good quality items of furniture to sell.
