Our Rapid Re-accommodation Welcome Centre in Edinburgh exists to save the lives of people forced to sleep rough during the coldest months of the year. This is a vital service that welcomes hundreds of people in crisis through its doors each season.
Running from October to April each year, the Welcome Centre helps protect the lives of people sleeping on the streets in Edinburgh by offering a warm and safe bed, hot food, and personalised support to move people on into suitable long-term accommodation.
With the support of the Scottish Government, City of Edinburgh Council and over 30 partnership charities, agencies and organisations, alongside the generous contributions of individuals, churches and businesses, the Welcome Centre is an essential service in the fight against homelessness and the tragedies we read above.
