In recent months, Bethany Christian Trust has partnered with two churches in Glasgow to host an Afternoon Tea. Welcoming over 200 guests, we are incredibly thankful to all those who helped run these events and made them such a huge success.
As part of each Afternoon Tea, Bethany welcomed the founders of Bethany Christian Trust, Alan and Anne Berry. They spoke about the history around Bethany and the journey the charity has been on over the last 35 years. Guests also enjoyed some live music and a silent auction which all came together to create a great atmosphere.
We were incredibly fortunate to have the support of local businesses at our Silent Auction including the Framing Workshop, Montague & West, Lucy Gordon, Craigie’s Farm Shop and Experience Days all providing wonderful prizes.
We are also very grateful to our catering partners for their efforts. Social Bite provided us with wonderful sandwiches, Craigie’s Farm Shop and Deli donated jam for our scones and we had a huge donation of clotted cream from Rodda’s, all the way from the creamery in Cornwall!
Across both days we raised over £5,000 – amazing! These funds will go directly towards our vital work with homeless and vulnerable individuals across our nation.
