We want to give a huge thank you to everyone that has so generously supported and given over £15,000 towards Bethany’s Spring Appeal this year. It’s been really encouraging to see and hear how Andrew’s* journey with Connect to Community has impacted you and brought attention to an integral part of our work.

The Spring Appeal’s message of connection is something that we can all relate to, especially after sheltering at home during lockdown. At Bethany we want each of our service users to be surrounded by a supportive community of their own and a place to feel safe. Our staff members are often that first contact and Andrew’s words show how essential our care is:

“Bethany’s been there to listen, give emotional support and practical support when I was moving. If Bethany hadn’t been around there’s no doubt I would have been back doing stuff I used to do.”

Today, Andrew continues to surround himself with a supportive network as he progresses with his addiction recovery and rehabilitation after prison. If you would like to donate and help our essential work further, donate online here or get in touch at 0131 561 8927.
