Ideally, you will be an established fundraiser with a track record in securing grants up to 6 figures.

You will supervise and guide the Trusts and Grants Fundraisers to ensure a cohesive strategic approach to making applications is maintained. You will ensure there is a rolling flow of trusts and grants applications to meet income requirements. The successful post holder will work as part of a team to provide flexible and creative support to vulnerable people to meet their housing needs.

Housing Support Fife is a member of the Fife Short-Term Housing Support & Homelessness Services PSP, a group of organisations working together with Fife council to provide services across Fife.

Bethany Christian Trust is looking for a support worker to deliver housing support to people in the Levenmouth area. You will have a proven record as a team player with excellent communication skills; you will have experience and knowledge of the service user group and their surrounding issues.  We would welcome applicants with lived experience of these issues.  Competence in the use of Microsoft office tools is essential. An SVQ 3 in Social Care, Promoting Independence or equivalent as listed by SSSC as appropriate for a ‘Housing Support Worker’ is desirable coupled with experience of working with vulnerable and homeless people.

We are looking for a coordinator to lead our new Community Support and Development team in Aberdeen and Inverness. The post will oversee a team of four staff members (1.6 FTE). Our targeted homelessness prevention projects are tailored to local needs and work in partnership with churches. We engage with individuals in communities to revitalise areas where the potential for homelessness is a real concern.

The role will involve overseeing a variety of work including the work of an existing Community Development Worker who oversees a drop-in on King Street, a new Recovery & Resettlement Worker in Aberdeen and one in Inverness and a Family Worker based in Torry but working across locations in Aberdeen.

Candidates will require significant experience and a demonstrable passion for working with people from a range of backgrounds including vulnerable individuals and a personal drive to see people on the margins of society have their lives transformed.

The role is open to opportunities for flexible working in conversation with the Director of Homelessness Prevention.

On the back of its success in providing supported accommodation in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dumfries Bethany Christian Trust is in the process of purchasing three properties within the Torry area of Aberdeen to develop its new Bethany Homes Aberdeen project.

We are looking for a housing officer to deliver tenancy/community support to the three individuals who will take up residence in our supported flats. The Housing Officer role will ensure the efficient outworking of tenancy management functions, including letting, inspecting and management of properties, working closely with the tenants to provide the highest level of care to deal with the day to day issues of housing management, including supporting the tenants with rent and maintenance issues, thereby maximising rental income and providing administration support as required. The role also includes engaging with the tenants to build their self-esteem, confidence and a sense of purpose to enable people to make positive choices relating to tenancy sustainment, community engagement and the development of healthy social networks.

As part of the wider Bethany Homes Team you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills however have the ability to work on your own and prioritise your workload; you will have experience and knowledge of the service user group and their surrounding issues relating to homelessness as well as having housing/letting management experience.  Competence in the use of Microsoft office tools is essential.

During the operational period of the Overnight Welcome Centre, running yearly from autumn to spring, contractual hours will increase to 39 hours per week. Once the Overnight Welcome Centre finished in spring contractual hours will reduce to 27.75 hours per week until the Care Shelter opens again in autumn.

Our Emergency Resettlement Unit is called Bethany House. It accommodates 24 men and 4 women in 6 cluster flats.

Your tasks include establishing and maintaining the general security of the building during night shift hours, in accordance with policies and procedures and accepted customs and practices; and upkeep of our 24 hours residential unit.

Experience of working with vulnerable and homeless people, experience of working within a team and an understanding of mental health issues, addiction problems and chaotic behaviour are essential for the role.

We are looking for a qualified counsellor either accredited or working towards accreditation, to work within our existing therapeutic and counselling service, currently operational within a collection of schools in Glasgow and the surrounding areas, including East Ayrshire.

We engage with young people to offer professional assistance aimed at improving mental health, wellbeing and personal development. We aim to provide help in dealing with a variety of issues as well as developing personal coping strategies to ultimately reduce the risk of homelessness.

Candidates will require experience of professional counselling, a demonstrable passion for working with people from a range of backgrounds and a personal drive to see young people thrive, flourish and overcome personal challenges.
