Every night there are people sleeping rough on the streets of Edinburgh.
A £25 Buy a Bed gift card helps someone by providing access to food, warmth and tailored support that will help them move on to stable accommodation through the Rapid Re-accommodation Welcome Centre.
From 12pm Tuesday 2nd December, the link above will open in a new tab on the Big Give website, where your donation will be doubled up to £60,000 thanks to generous match funding.

A letter of gratitude
The letter below was sent by a guest who stayed at the Welcome Centre last season:
“I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible support and kindness I received during my recent stay at the Welcome Centre. I have now moved on to a private rental. Thanks to your generosity, I was able to find a sense of stability during a difficult time, and I will be forever grateful for how welcomed and supported I felt.
I was greeted warmly on my first day. The staff listened to my story and provided me with the encouragement I needed. I’m deeply appreciative of everyone who brought us food and hot meals and contributed to the warmth of this community. You were all there when I needed it most, and I will carry each of you in my heart as I move on. I feel fortunate to have found accommodation that works for me.

What is the Welcome Centre?
The Rapid Re-accommodation Welcome Centre provides people who would otherwise be sleeping rough with 24-hour accommodation, hot food and access to 24/7 wrap around support. Guests also receive individualised support to help them move on to more suitable long-term accommodation.
Bethany project workers are there for individuals looking to find more permanent accommodation and assist people with addictions or mental health issues. A wide range of referral routes to support is also provided.
The Welcome Centre is based at ELS House, 555 Gorgie Road, Edinburgh EH11 3LE.
