Volunteering

Volunteers form an invaluable part of the Bethany team, doing vital work. Without volunteers, much of the work of the Trust would struggle to continue.

Care Shelter, Edinburgh

We are so grateful for the support of around 75 churches (offering over 500 volunteers) who help us provide this service in Edinburgh every winter. We could not do this without your support.

This year, the Edinburgh Care Shelter runs for 22 weeks:

Monday 2nd November 2009 until the morning of Monday 5th April 2010.

There are two main groups of volunteers within Bethany. The following links detail areas in which you can be involved:

Both groups work throughout the Trust and form an essential part of the staffing and support structure. Whether you are looking to spend a year serving others full time or have a few hours to spare each week your help is valuable.
