Come along, bring your friends and join us for a fantastic Afternoon Tea!
Attending a Bethany Afternoon Tea is a great way to get together, have a lovely afternoon and help support Bethany Christian Trust’s vital work with people who are homeless across Scotland.
Join us for a cup of tea on any of the following dates:
- Saturday 2nd February – 02:00pm – Hillview Community Church, Cults
- Saturday 16th February – 02:00pm – Findlay Memorial Church, Glasgow
- Saturday 2nd March – 02:00pm – Bearsden Baptist Church, Bearsden
Each ticket costs £20 with the full amount going towards Bethany Christian Trust. At Bethany, we can do a lot with £20; for example, £21 provides a hot meal, a safe, warm bed and specialist support for someone who would otherwise be forced to sleep outside.
This winter we are sharing the story of Constantine. Constantine is someone who was living on the streets, experiencing violence and abuse daily before finding Bethany’s Care Shelter. Constantine says, ‘The Care Shelter saved my life’. With Bethany’s help, Constantine moved into Bethany Christian Centre and then Bethany House where he began to rebuild his life. Now Constantine is living in his own Bethany flat and is thinking about the next steps in his life.
As well as helping people like Constantine, your £20 will have the same impact in various other services across Scotland, local to you. Bringing support and transformation through prevention and housing support services.
We want to help more people like Constantine. By joining us at our Afternoon Teas across Scotland, you will be helping us to end homelessness in Scotland, one person at a time.
